EN 1090-2 Certification
CPR 305/2011 (The Construction Products Regulation)

Steel structures in the EU being required to meet EN 1090-1 & EN 1090-2 technical requirement according to CPR  305/2011 regulation. 

 

Certification process :

1) Applicable Harmonized technical specifications - EN-1090-1/2  requirements.

2) Contract with NoBo

3) Shop Audit

4) Manufacturer's DoP (Declaration of Performance).

5) Attach CE marking. 

 

Note:

1: Notified Body (NoBo) : A notified body is an organisation designated by an EU country to assess the conformity of certain products before being placed on the market. These bodies carry out tasks related to conformity assessment procedures set out in the applicable legislation, when a third party is required. 

  • assessment of the performance of a construction products;

  • certification of constancy of performance;

  • factory production control certification;

2. CRP 305/2011 : Regulation No. 305/2011[1] (Construction Products Regulation, or CPR) of the European Parliament and of the European Council is a regulation of 9 March 2011 that lays down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and replaces Construction Products Directive (89/106/EEC).
